I supervise from an educational perspective while utilizing a variety of counseling theories and evidenced based supervision techniques. I honor my work in supervision and see my role as an educator, collaborator, consultant, administrator and partner in this shared journey."

SuperVision Rates
• Individual supervision: $130 per hour
• Group supervision (2–3 Associates): $80 per hour
The process
During the supervision process with Dr. Uzzell, Associates will develop their counseling skills, therapeutic competence and professional identity. You will learn best ethical practices, gain practical clinical tools, and develop personally and professionally through supervision, self-reflection, and experiential exercises. At times, when available, Associates may have the opportunity to develop and co-facilitate groups and workshops with Dr. Uzzell.

Dr. Uzzell believes that the supervision relationship is one of the most important and rewarding relationships a counselor will develop during their career because it sets the foundation for counseling practice. It forms the bridge between education and professional application. For this reason, she is intentional about providing high-level supervision while forming a long-lasting professional relationship with Associates.

If you would like to engage in clinical supervision with Dr. Uzzell as your supervisor, please email her and attach a copy of your curriculum vitae. She will follow-up with you within one week of receiving your email to discuss with you a plan for moving forward. Serving Those Who Have Served
SOLAY proudly supports our military by working with veterans, active duty & retired military personnel and their families to provide counseling and assessments. We also assist them in coping with post traumatic experiences that they may have endured while serving in the armed forces.

Our Rates
• $325 for Veterans assessments
• $100 for 50-minute follow-up therapy or consultation session
• $50 for 30-minute follow-up therapy or consultation session
• $150 for DBQ completion

Is therapy confidential?

In general, the law protects the confidentiality of all communications between a client and psychotherapist. No information is disclosed without prior written permission from the client. However, there are some exceptions required by law to this rule. Exceptions include:

• Suspected child, dependant adult, or elder abuse.
• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person.
• If a client intends and has a plan to harm himself or herself.
